This is one of our most-popular offerings. It seems like we can never host enough of these 101-style floral-design classes.

It's where we start with the basics and finish with a beautiful seasonal arrangement that you make and take home. Learn about cut flower varieties, how to cut them, greenery and, of course, how to turn them into an eye-catching bouquet.

Choose from one (or all) of the three classes and dates listed below.

All classes are held at Terra Farms and begin at 6:00 p.m.

Summertime Delight: Zinnias/Lisianthus (July 24)

Learn to arrange with the absolute staples of the cut-flower world. Bright colors, an array of sizes, dozens of varieties to choose from... this course is purposefully designed around the flowers blooming at the peak of summer. Learn about color palates, stem length and what to harvest when... a perfect beginner's class.

Designing with Sunflowers (August 14)

Sunflowers are a staple of the floral realm. But they're not as simple as they look. Learn to make eye-catching arrangements that are balanced and filled with rich, powerful colors. This one is a staple for any serious designer.

Dahlias! (September 25)

Dahlias! Is there anything else to say. Arguably the most popular cut flower on the planet, dahlias are incredibly fun to design with. We'll teach you the various varieties, what to look for in a stem and how to put them together in a dazzling bouquet. If you love dahlias... this class is a must!

FAQs

Do I need to have any experience for these classes? No. This series is for total beginners. We'll teach you everything you need to get started designing beautiful floral arrangements. If you already have some essential floral knowledge and want to expand your skills, you'll enjoy our "advanced" classes.

Do I need to bring anything? Nope. We provide everything you need. A box or something similar to take your arrangement home in may be helpful.

Can I bring a friend? Certainly, but each attendee must have their own ticket. No sharing.

What if it rains? Are the classes held outside? We'll do our best to hold the class, but if the weather is bad, the rain date will be the following evening.
